Shirley Priester-Delgado, MSW
Division of Developmental Disabilities Program Director
New Life Health Care Agency’s Division of Developmental Disabilities Program Director Shirley Priester-Delgado oversees the need of the day to day programming & services throughout New Jersey. Shirley graduated from Rutgers University School of Social Work in 2018 with a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Health and Aging. As well as a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science degree from Wilmington University.
She has over 10 years of experience in numerous roles within the health and aging population. These roles consist of working directly with the elderly and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community as well as in their homes.
Her passion for advocating and supporting the elderly and disable comes from case management, being a caregiver, a direct support professional, an employment specialist, as well as a program director and a community support senior coordinator for individuals with disabilities. Shirley is a true advocate, and offers support to individuals in need of specific services to help keep them living active and productive lives within their communities.
Alyssa R. Lovill, MA,QMHP
Division of Developmental Disabilities Executive Director
Alyssa R. Lovill had developed a passion for helping others at a young age and has devoted her over 15 year career to making changes and advancing the level of care and support offered in the field of social services. She helped define supports for people with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), mental and behavioral health diagnosis’s. From working with individuals directly to creating premier services and supports designed specifically for people with disabilities and their families. Mrs. Lovill continues to champion the movement for persons with the need for supports and developmental disabilities as the Executive Director of New Life Health Care Agency’s division of developmental disabilities.
Mrs. Lovill leads New Life Health Care with a focus on independence and inclusion for people with IDD, a steady hand, and innovative thinking. She continues to advocate, empower, and transform the lives of those with disabilities and their families. Under her direction, many agencies throughout Illinois and New Jersey have developed high quality programs and supports based upon the individuals needs. Alyssa has worked alongside of NJ Senators Cory Booker and Robert Mendez and congress to launch a bill to better assist and provide higher quality care and services to veterans with brain injuries, services developed by the bill were residential programs and day programs and aided in the development of comprehensive acute and post-acute rehabilitation programs for people with brain injuries.
Alyssa enjoys sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience by training and mentoring new staff. She serves as a field instructor for Walden University’s MSW program, is a certified trainer for the Elwyn Crisis Management & restraint techniques and curriculum, positive behavioral supports acknowledged trainer for numerous agencies and is a certified American Red Cross first aid & CPR training instructor. She is acknowledged by the State of New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities and Department of Human Services. Mrs. Lovill guides New Life Health Care Agency’s Division of Developmental Disabilities to break ground through innovative services and utilizing all available resources for people with developmental disabilities throughout the state of New Jersey.
